"I'm not one for sending holiday cards. In fact, it has been about 10 years since I last sent holiday cheer and was 100% not about sending cards in the disaster that was 2020. Until I saw Vy Vy's perfectly curated messages that seemed to convey the 2020 holiday spirit PERFECT...Merry ChristMASK, Ho Ho Ho ~ This year BLOWS, to name a few. I've never been so excited to send holiday cheer to friends, family, coworkers, even our UPS/mail and local workers. And I did. I thought 25 cards would be enough, but they were so fun to write and send, I had to beg Vy Vy for a 2nd rush order to keep up with all the people I wanted to send these gems to! And you know what? People keep asking about them! The few neighbors I've been to see have had Vy Vy's card proudly displayed on their mantles (long after the other cards have been tossed away), and our mail carrier Blanca even FRAMED hers to remember the year we all survived!! I've never had so much joy seeing the reactions of a perfectly crafted card displaying the sentiment we all must have been feeling in one way or another over this holiday season. Vy Vy has made a holiday card-writer out of me and I cannot wait to check out which new designs she comes up with! When I think of 2020, laughing over these cards and writing the little messages of acknowledgement and encouragement are one of the brightest moments.
